Haven’t posted many photos of Cambree lately because until yesterday she was still in constant sleep mode. Now she’s finally staying awake for awhile and giving us some face time. So here’s one shot of her room… And three of those ohsocute faces…
Amanda and I have returned from a wonderful week long vacation! We made three main stops. The previous photos were from one of those locations. These two are from the third location. Bonus points if you can name this place based on these photos. Friends and family who knew where we were going are disqualified!…
I’ve never had a music video before, and this is probably as close as I’ll ever get. Big thanks to Chris Byrd for posting his video from the Apriori art show held at the Terminal in early 2006, using a piece I wrote as background music. That piece was the Bergomask Dance, from a suite…
Yes, we’re moving. No, we’re not leaving Erie County. And no, we’re not going to be the latest to move to a trendy new downtown loft. Now that those questions are out of the way, the next is, “Why are you moving?” Two main reasons. First, we purchased our home five years ago, relatively cheaply,…
It ain’t easy bein’ green, especially in Marburg, Germany where a new building ordinance now requires any homeowner that does roof or heating system repairs to install solar panels. From his deck, Mr. Schönherr can see the town’s famous hilltop Gothic castle as well as two of its three power-generating windmills. On his roof, a…
All Things Jennifer has made this one an annual event. It’s a Terminal thing, so we’ll be there. Will you? You don’t need to be a blogger! The Central Terminal’s annual Oktoberfest celebration is a party for everyone! Guaranteed to be a great time, as always. German food, German music, and German beer – both…
Hi! I write you for different reasons. The first one to tell you I enjoyed your pics from Belgium. I went there last year and I think it’s an awesome place. The other reason is because we share the same lastname, this is: Punaro. I am mexican, and back there all the people that share this lastname are the descendents of the late Mr. José Asuncion Punaro (this is my grandfather from my mother’s side). The funny thing is that we don’t know the origen of the Punaro name. So, each time I have a chance, I seach to see if by any chance I find a clue. Some time ago I was told it is from northen Italy. Do you have an idea? Thank and hope you don’t bother for using this space that I imagine it’s reserved for your family and close friends.
The name does originate in Italy. Somewhere, I have some images of Ellis Island records of my ancestors coming over to the U.S. I’ll post them when I have a chance. I do not know where the Mexican branch would have started!
