Look Out M&T!

On June 15th, I applied on-line to M&T Bank for a Training Specialst position thanks to our good friend Mike Miller (Love You Mike!!). After 3 separate interviews (one downtown at M&T plaza, one at Amherst Center and one phone interview to Delaware) one massive presentation and tons of waiting anxiously for the word, it came this morning at 8:30…..I GOT THE JOB!!!! πŸ™‚ Go me! (Had to say it once, sorry!)

I am very confident that this is a place where I will fit in. When I gave my presentation last week everyone there made me feel so welcome and relaxed. It was almost as if I had known them my entire life and I was speaking to old friends.

What an exciting time! Thank you again to everyone in this little community of ours for your much needed support back in May/June. You all gave me strength when I needed it and I truly put it to good use! I have a few weeks now to get my house/office put together before I am a full time employee once again! YAY!!!

This position incorporates teaching, through training Service Reps, writing, through writing updates to training mauals, meetings with supervisors to consult with them regarding their employees and a little bit of travel every now and again to Milsboro, Delaware. It really has everything I could think of I would want in a job! I am very happy and relieved to not be doing a job search anymore!

(By the way… request the shuttle (plane) to Millsboro. I hear the drive from Baltimore to Millsboro passes by a chicken plant that isn’t the most pleasant).

    Enjoy!
