Busy Weekend
This weekend was exceptionally busy, but fun none the less! Even though the rain made it a bit sad on Saturday for the car show at the BUFFALO CENTRAL TERMINAL (which so happens to be in the city) there was a good sized crowd there and the most interesting and beautiful cars I have ever seen! So big thanks out to Lakeside Classic Cruisers and the East Side Car Club for coming out and showing off your beauties!
Sunday was even busier, if you can believe it! But with all family stuff. We met Derek’s Cousin, Matt (and entire family including three adorable, small children and lots of cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws as well) at Shanghi Red’s on the waterfront and had a delightful champagne brunch (which I am sure Mom Punaro would be more than happy to define for you 😉 ) to celebreate Matt’s graduation from Pharmacy school. We ate until we were too full to move, then took a lovely stroll around the marina, found a geocache –A Slice Of Heaven– on our way and then headed back to the patio outside Red’s for another drink and to watch the boats doing their thing. Very relaxing afternoon.
Next we were off to Auntie Cheryl’s house for more food, drinks and company. After that we were off to Grandpa and Grandma Punaro’s house for Grandpa’s 89th birthday! Where once again, we ate and ate until we were too full to move and then tried teaching Derek’s sister Kendra what little sign language we know. It was a very nice day, but it sure felt good to be home!!!
