It was a very low-key Valentine’s Day for us. Amanda was home sick all day (I’ve been denying all day that my throat feels kinda scratchy too). I got home, snowblowed the driveway, helped cook up some pork onion stroganoff (one of my favorites), and we slothed out on the couch and watched TV. Amanda made a nice heart-shaped cake. We bought each other our Valentine’s gifts while down in Disney – Laila perfume for her, and Pirates of the Caribbean Life for me. Cool. I like low key.

Someone call the Hardly Boys! After my Saturday adventures in the attic, I picked up two mouse traps from Home Depot, baited them with peanut butter, and stuck them in the attic. Monday evening there were two dead mice in the attic. I disposed of them and reset the traps. Went up to check today……
