Thanks to all the bands who participated on the Bring It Back To Life CD to benefit the Central Terminal. Special thanks to No Effect, Breakerbox, McCarthyizm, The Feast, and The Filter Kings for their great job performing last night at the CD Release Party. And a big thank you to Greg Wojda for putting the whole thing together! I hope this can be a start to having more benefit concerts at the Terminal.

So, this is the weekend where I finally get to upgrade our internal Lotus QuickPlace environment (a system which I’m responsible for) to the semi-current 6.5.x release. This is an odd situation… everyone is blogging about the latest round of county budget disasters, and I agree with all of them. At least, I agree in part with what everyone is saying. This is why I find it so difficult to pick a side, or a party, or even a basic political philosophy….
BuffaloPundit posted an email he got from a downstate toll collector… Hi… I was reading about the removal of the tolls in the blog, and caught the line about “everybody winsâ€. Not everybody. There’s about 150 of us down here maintaining I-84 that have no idea one way or the other about your toll booths….
