I’m just too busy to find the time to write up a description about our trip, so I’ll post a few photo albums and show you some of the new camera work. Enjoy!

Are you ready for this? Ok…. here it comes…. Ta-da! House! A lot happened in the last few weeks, despite no posts here. You should also watch for interm updates on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. We can set aside the silly notion I had that I’m going to blog daily. Frankly, the current performance of…
It’s a good thing we have all those braniacs working at the New York State Department of Transportation to tell us things like “the presence of freight traffic would make the Central Terminal ill-suited to be a passenger rail station again.” They must have done a lot of work coming to that conclusion. I mean…
I was only going to go to the Terminal for a couple hours to help out with Dyngus Day, but the crowds were so overwhelming that I ended up staying all night to help! It was wildly successful, and there is no doubt that Dyngus Day is becoming a huge event in Buffalo.
Even conservatives like myself can find some solace in the Democrat’s recent rise to power. An article on TheStreet.com discusses the likelihood that the tipping of the political scales will likely mean that net neutrality will be preserved. The House of Representatives passed a version of the bill that was stripped of net neutrality language…
Let’s start off with a video of the foundation wall forms set in place before the concrete was poured… That also saves me a lot of typing! After this, they do exactly what you expect – fill with concrete, like so… Then a few days later, the forms come off and all you have left…
Ariella was in for her 4 month doctor’s visit today. She’s 12lbs 11oz and ~25″ tall. Here she is sleeping off her two shots.
Very nice pics. Looks like you had a good time site seeing.
nice derek! thanks for the Rehoboth pics, My family used to go there when I was a kid.
Real Estate in Lewes and Rehoboth has been ruined by investors who have tried to make a quick buck with encouragement from real estate executives. The market will correct itself in 2007 and 2008 to everyones surprise. Now Realtors have learned a lesson and need to cater to the public who wish to buy and live in homes. These are the folks who will be their customers for long term. Certain markets such as Williamsburg, Virginia will not allow more than 5% of home sales to Investors in prestigious residential developments. Several new gated communities in NC and SC are enforcing that a buyer has to live for 2 years before “flipping” to discourage investors. So lets make the adventure a pleasant experience for the real buyer.”
I have not been to Lewes, DE. I have been offered a job in the area. We live in LA and were hoping for some input about the town. Is it nice just for a visit or could it be a good place to live for a while? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric
Being a “good place to live” has drastically different meanings for different people. I’ve only been a tourist there, myself. The beachfront areas are nice. Cape Henlopen State Park was very nice. There are three huge outlet malls nearby. It has a small, Atlantic coastal town feel to it. If you’re looking for big city nightlife, or hustle and bustle, I would stay away.
