Recently, a study was published by some mathematicians using some fancy mathematical models that showed bad drivers cause traffic jams. To this I say, “Duh!” Either you were already aware of this fact, or you are, perhaps unknowingly, one of the bad drivers. To be fair, the study was a bit more in depth. What…
For the past few years, we’ve been heading around the corner to Evergreen Hills to cut down our Christmas Tree. Here’s a few pics from this year’s trip:
Do you believe politicians when they say they’re making changes “for the children”? Think again. Our children face a future of rising taxes, squeezed — and perhaps falling — public services, and aging — perhaps deteriorating — public infrastructure (roads, sewers, transit systems). Today’s young workers and children are about to be engulfed by a…
Three weeks in a row, three great events! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out to make Oktoberfest run smoothly this year. And, of course, thanks to all the bloggers for unplugging for awhile and coming out to have some fun! Great seeing you all again!
The power came back on in my area of Hamburg (McKinley Mall area) at 7:00pm. Hopefully the same is happening for others as well. Our power went off about 11pm last night. Between the eerie silence, the sound of tree after tree snapping and falling, and the bizzare blue lightning, it was one of the…

25% per survey- but I may have been partially in denial (+/- 25%) in my answers to questions. I don’t know where on the continuum “addicted” kicks in, as opposed to just “problem blogging” or “binge blogging”, but 84% seems pretty high. Support group time, Derek?
At only a 25% “addiction”, it does seem to take up too much time – mainly because of the procrastination factor (ie. I should be doing something else at that moment, like now).
I don’t know what the big deal is. I only have 167 subscriptions in Google Reader. I don’t think addiction starts until you’re over 200.
I don’t even post that frequently, I just think about posting frequently. 🙂 I want to know what the results are for, say, an All Things Jennifer. 😉
