Dyngus Day

Thanks to WNYMedia.net for putting together this video covering last night’s Dyngus Day festivities at the Terminal, and in the whole Broadway-Fillmore area. It was certainly the most “alive” that I’ve seen the East Side, well, ever!

The Terminal was cold… so cold in fact that the tap lines from the beer kegs froze a couple of times. Naturally, I turned that into an advertising slogan, telling people that we were serving the “Coldest Beer in Buffalo!” The cold didn’t seem to stop people from coming in and partaking of the festivities, though. I also must say that the actual performance of the Polka-ized version of The Ramones “I Want To Be Sedated” by Those Idiots far surpassed my expectations.
