Cramer’s gone BANANAs

I almost spit out my WPOP when I saw Jim Cramer break out the term BANANA on Mad Money last night. So I grabbed my camera, snaped some shots (I’m not geeky enough to have hacked my Tivo… yet) and sent the photos to BuffaloGeek because I consider him responsible for popularizing the term BANANA in Buffalo. I wanted to give him the opportunity to post the story himself first.

It seemed uncannily timely, having just finished my post on the Wal-Mart NIMBYs, the launch of The Buffalo BANANA Brigade blog, and some other BANANA-related press that Geek is getting.

Seeing it was a stroke of luck, since I don’t usually watch the show every night like I used to. I knew Cramer talked about CSX on his show last night, and since I just added it to my portfolio, I wanted to hear what he had to say. Good commentary, Jim. I added to my position today. Let’s hope that secular growth stock masquerading as a cyclical, uh, picks up steam. Pun very much intended.

  1. The problem isn’t really my lack of technical expertise, it’s the fact that I love my Tivo just the way it is. It has one of the best interfaces ever for an electronic device, and it’s STABLE! Some things are too good the way they are to mess with. 🙂
