M&T Bank

Tomorrow will be my fourth official day on the job! I feel so lucky to have been picked to work with such a great group of people, our friend Mike Miller included! So far I have met the most friendly people who truly love their jobs and who have welcomed myself and my new friend/partner/co-worker Mary with so much enthusiasm, it is hard not to feel at home. But there is so much to learn!! I feel so lost with all the knowledge there is to become familiar with. I know it will take time and that in a year I will have it all down like nothing flat, but right now my brain hurts. No, seriously, it HURTS. Trying to learn all the tech stuff like e-mail systems and phone systems plus trying to get terminology in your head and think about the fact that in 2 weeks Mary and I will be traveling to Millsboro, DE for training for 3 WEEKS. Then when we get back we’ll be in charge of a New Hire class of our own to teach what we just learned.

I am overwhelmed, exhausted and so happy I could burst. This is the type of environment I have been looking for in my career. I am so glad that Mike told me about it and then did so much to get me there. It still amazes me that I work for such a great company!!! 🙂
