We had a street sale today. If we could have sold the answer to what this plant is, we might have actually made some money. 🙂
This plant is called a Red Hot Poker, Poker Plant, or Torch Lily. It’s pretty impressive and definitely stands out in the garden. Best yet, it’s a perennial, so it just keeps coming back every year.
Actually, we did profit slightly from the street sale. We sold $9 worth of junk and spent $3 at other people’s houses, so we’re up $6! Woo Hoo!
Incremental progress over the last couple weeks. Drain tile and waterproofing was added. One the foundation was inspected, backfilling and rough grading was done. Our other accomplishment was to rent a Bobcat and turn our mountain of wood chips into a nice hiking trail! Stay tuned for a future video showing the hiking trail! Probably…
