Back on to the Europe photos then. Still traipsing around Madrid, we are. Psst…. I also made a little tweak to the site’s CSS so that anytime I center an image it automatically adds a 20px black frame around it. Nice, huh?
Starting the Easter Traditions
Two of our Easter traditions are going to the Broadway Market and to Galley’s Nursery for flowers. The Market was much more navigable today than on Holy Saturday, when we usually go. We picked up some sausage, pierogis, and a butter lamb from Camellia’s. I’ve always been partial to Wardynski’s, but Camellia’s sausage has a…
iPhoney
Count me among the people that are underimpressed by the iPhone. For those of us that have been using smartphones already, the iPhone is a bit of a let down. Sure, it’s got that sleek, spiffy look that Apple has become synonomous with, and I can honestly say it’s probably one of the best looking…
Punaro Glen Construction: Some time in 2020…. I think
Time flies when… uh… you’re stuck at home due to the Coronavirus. Somehow I’ve managed to go nearly 3 months without posting an update here. I would have given it at least a 1.5 for poor fact checking (it’s broadwayfillmorealive.org and Paderewski Drive) but we can blame the editors for…
A reconfiguration for Transfiguration

I think that’s the best idea I’ve heard for Transfiguration so far. The building is in very rough shape, and frankly it’s just not likely that it’s going…
Very colorful and fun cake. My wife will also be impressed, as she has made many interesting novelty cakes. Even if the chips and cards are made from fondent (sp.?), which I find too dense and sweet to be edible.
That is a good one – good idea to take photos – it’s fun to look back on the crazy cakes from the past.
I’m sure Dad loved it.
Awesome!
