The 2014 Christmas Card
Happy holidays to everyone! 2014 was a family and fun-filled year. Amanda’s parents took the whole family on a trip to the Outer Banks (counterclockwise from top left – photos 1, 5, & 6). We made a quick stop in Lancaster, PA and Hershey on the way home (photo 8). My sister (photo 2) and my…

Maple Weekend
It’s Maple Weekend, when you can venture out to my neck of the woods and tour some sugar shacks, sample maple products, attend pancake breakfasts, and of course purchase all the maple products you want! We ventured out to three establishments. First stop was Kirsch’s Sugar House. This was actually the first time that any…
The general catch up/look forward/first post of the year post
Well… 2009 is gone already, huh? I feel obligated to blog something here more than an Ariella photo to start off the year, so here’s my stream of consciousness… My 2009 was largely focused on two things – my new daughter and the Central Terminal. Violators will be prosecuted
I haven’t written much about the Central Terminal lately. Amanda and I missed the end of the season with moving and now it’s the off season and there’s not much going on at the moment. However, an important story was published in the Buffalo News today and posted on the CTRC site: Buffalo graffiti vandal…
Awesome!
Thanks for looking out for us! Had a great time- it is so great to see that many people there- Buffalo parties are only considered good if they run out of beer….
Derek and Amanda,
It was great to see you two again. Sorry you had so much going on, but on the flip side-thanks for all your efforts.
I had never been in the terminal before, but I can easily see how it inspires such dedication. You and your cohorts on the terminal preservation board are owed a huge debt by this area for safeguarding this treasure for us. And on a more personal note, thanks for making sure we had a table set aside. Talk to you both soon.
