Central Terminal Old Home Week tour a success!

Over 130 people showed up for the Buffalo Old Home Week tour of the Central Terminal today. The crowd was certainly larger than expected and pretty close to unmanageable for only three of us, and with many of the barricades down due to Terminus I spent a lot of time chasing people out of the Waiting Room and bathrooms and other places they shouldn’t have been. Thanks to Amy and Jessica(?) from the Old Home Week staff for helping us out as well!

I also spent close to an hour with a photographer from the New York Times. Keep an eye out to see whether Old Home Week and the Terminal make tomorrow’s edition!

Central Terminal spring cleanup this weekend!

Don’t forget… our 9th annual spring cleanup takes place this Saturday and Sunday, May 6th and 7th from 9am until 1pm. Work will take place both inside and outside the building, depending on weather. Frood and drink will be provided. Please bring gloves and any tools (shovels, brooms, etc.) that you think will be helpful!
