A note to comment writers

Some comment writers may wonder why their comments get held in moderation, or never displayed at all. Just so everyone out there is clear, here are our rules for commenting on this site.

We will gladly allow comments that counter the opinions posted on this site. However…

  1. All comments on this site are moderated. I read all comments from new commentors before they are published.
  2. All comment writers must use a valid email address. This isn’t published on the site, it’s for our eyes only. We may verify your email address before allowing your comment to be published. You are free to hide your real/full name from the public if you wish.
  3. This is our site and we reserve the right to remove/deny any comment we don’t feel is fit. This includes any comments that are vulgar, personal attacks, or just plain stupid. All such comments are logged and saved offline. Never assume you’re anonymous on the internet. You’re not.

We don’t force anyone to read what is written here. It’s amazing that anyone actually does. If you don’t like us, our site, or our rules… it’s a big Internet. Find yourself another blog. 🙂

  1. The man holding me back!!! lol That’s one of the reasons I went with Haloscan comments. Anonymous is still available, but the IP address is logged (unlike the native blogspot commenting). I had an issue with some pretty mean anonymous comments myself. Gotta love it…

  2. Damn the Man! Save the Empire!

I have yet to have enough comments to be concerned about anything but comment spam and that’s not an issue for me since I use DominoBlog. I am not sure how he does it, but Steve does a wonderfuly job keeping all the cialis sites off my blog.
