Church marathon
Holy week is a church marathon for Amanda and I. Being in the choir means we sing Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil tonight. Toss in blessing of the baskets Saturday afternoon and that would be more church than most people can handle in a year. But we don’t stop there. Amanda being one of two cantors means she sings three masses Sunday as well. Since on Easter she gets the overflow masses in the school gym, she needs an accompanist. I think that’s the main reason she married a pianist. 😉
Seven services in four days. If we weren’t so busy with our own church, I’d try and hit at least a couple of the East Side churches that Chris got to Thursday.

I just know there is a punchline there somewhere. Something about shipwrecked sailors, genies in bottles and a hearing aid?
