Stretching the Bush-bashing to it’s limits
I was going to post my reaction on the Bush-bash of the day, but then I saw that Craig already wrote exactly what I was going to say. C’mon, media. There are plenty of real things you can bash Bush with, but this one doesn’t even come close to being newsworthy. Talk about stretching the truth to push an agenda.
I’m with you on this!! It’s ridiculous to see them still trying to pin Katrina on President Bush (or ANY single person for that matter…)
Here are a couple of things that should have been kept in mind and should be remembered.
1) Hurricanes always hit the Gulf of Mexico
2) N.O. is on the Gulf of Mexico
3) N.O. will be hit by another major hurricane at some point
4) The people there chose to live in a basin in the path of hurricanes
5) The federal government shouldn’t pay to rebuild N.O. in its current location where it WILL be ravaged again someday…
Thanks for the link – I’ll have to keep an eye on Craig’s site!
And I am as well…with you on this…
I can’t get over the partisan bs in this country…and it seems like it is just getting worse…
If anything comes out of Katrina, I hope people will just pay heed to warnings when Mother Nature is about to take a big sh*t on you…
I also fear that we (meaning the government) are going to overreact now when a storm is approaching…then again, maybe that isn’t such a bad thing…
