Pause
After seven parties in six days, we finally get a break… until New Year’s Eve, when everyone will be coming here. Christmas is by far the busiest season for us. Amanda sang four masses between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, in between the various parties. I used my last two vacation days on the 21st and 22nd, so unfortunately it was back to work for me all week, and while normally this would be a pretty quiet time of year, we have a big project proposal that needs to go to the board for review in early January, effectively eliminating the tranquility of the season.
All that aside, Christmas was really great this year. Amanda got me a new Garmin eTrex Legend Cx GPS as an “upgrade” to my existing one. This one adds auto-routing, a color screen, and expandable memory over my old eTrex Legend. Of course, now with two GPSes in the house, we’ll both have one to go Geocaching with. Maybe that will improve our find ratio. My goal is to cross 100 in 2007!
I got a lot of other great gifts as well, from the very useful to the very fun, all of which are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all of my extended family for your generosity!
To them and to all of you – have a happy new year! I’m looking forward to another year of Bloggercons and events at the Terminal. Tomorrow also marks the one year anniversary of Punaro.com – The Blog Version being launched. What a year it has been!
Gee, has it only been one year of blogging? Seems like much longer…..
