Ok, back on track. Here’s two last shots from the Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid.
Three weeks in a row, three great events! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out to make Oktoberfest run smoothly this year. And, of course, thanks to all the bloggers for unplugging for awhile and coming out to have some fun! Great seeing you all again!
Having had the privilege of logging quite a few airline miles on rarely the same airline in the last year, I’ve seen the extremely wide range of customer service offerings from both U.S. and foreign carriers. I’ve flown domestic carriers that offered nothing more than a 6oz soft drink on a 5 hour flight, to…
Ok, no doubt this would be a cool Christmas gift to get… … but $280?!? Holy crap! I don’t think I’ve ever spent that much on ANY article of clothing! Not even a suit!
I’m currently playing with updating Punaro.com to use the new 2014 theme. Bear with me while I’m tweaking.
Unfortunately, I can be of little help in the voting booth to get Tom Suozzi through the primary, but I can help share his message. Hop over to WNYMedia.net for the video of last night’s Town Hall Meeting in West Seneca and to BuffaloGeek and SpeakupWNY.com for reviews. I have no faith that Spitzer will…
Hi! I write you for different reasons. The first one to tell you I enjoyed your pics from Belgium. I went there last year and I think it’s an awesome place. The other reason is because we share the same lastname, this is: Punaro. I am mexican, and back there all the people that share this lastname are the descendents of the late Mr. José Asuncion Punaro (this is my grandfather from my mother’s side). The funny thing is that we don’t know the origen of the Punaro name. So, each time I have a chance, I seach to see if by any chance I find a clue. Some time ago I was told it is from northen Italy. Do you have an idea? Thank and hope you don’t bother for using this space that I imagine it’s reserved for your family and close friends.
The name does originate in Italy. Somewhere, I have some images of Ellis Island records of my ancestors coming over to the U.S. I’ll post them when I have a chance. I do not know where the Mexican branch would have started!
