Generally I’d leave the analysis on Mary Kunz Goldman’s weekly typeset diarrhea to BuffaloPundit, but she blurted out something related to my beloved Terminal.
With a shooting on Chippewa and gangsta rap in the Tralf, we wonder: How can we become an even bigger, badder Buffalo? Luckily, the Buffalo Central Terminal is stepping in, with the screening of a locally made film, “Prison of the Psychotic Damned.” The terminal’s Web site says it’s about ghost hunters who come to the Terminal to see if it deserves its reputation as “one of the most haunted places in the world,” and find that yes, it does. Red Scream Films, who made “Prison of the Psychotic Damned” and who we’re guessing were turned down by the Richardson Complex, hope a $5 screening in the terminal at 6 p.m. on June 23 will help terminal restoration efforts. Their movie has nudity, violence, gore and scenes of “extreme terror.” Funny, we’re starting to feel that already.
Uhhh…… so somehow a horror movie filmed in the Central Terminal is akin to a shooting and Gansta rap? A $5 fundraising premiere of the movie makes Buffalo badass? Mary, WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR POINT? I guess we shouldn’t expect much from the person who’s quote of the week comes from the classified section.
A quick note to the management over at the Snooze – MKG’s weekly literary bulemia is one of the reasons I cancelled my subscription three years ago.
The Terminal isnt scary at all, It is vacant to some that makes it scary if it was filled with people working there it would be looked at as a beautiful building which it is!
Mary is too busy trying to be relevant, making a point appears to be a secondary concern to her.
