I’m just too busy to find the time to write up a description about our trip, so I’ll post a few photo albums and show you some of the new camera work. Enjoy!

Oh how the liberals love to point to Canada’s socialized healthcare system as being the North Star for us to navigate by. Canada’s system has big problems, though, ones which are easy to see and predict, yet hastily ignored by those looking to feed the Hutt of federal government. However, it’s hard to ignore the…
What a relief that the Sabres finally finished off Ottawa. All these playoff games have been seriously affecting my ability to get other things done, like work outside, pay bills, etc. Hopefully NJ/Carolina goes 7 games so I can get back on track!
So I had finally met up with Derek in Milan, Italy. My first time in this country and I was so excited! We waited for Derek’s co-worker and his wife in the lobby and then we were off. The true center of Milan was only a short walk from where our hotel was located and…
Wow! It was a day of rainbows! I couldn’t believe the width and definition. These shots were taken from our bedroom. I have RAW format files too, I’m just a n00b at modifying them, so here’s the JPGs… Double Rainbow: This is a Supernumerary Rainbow: According to Wikipedia: A supernumerary rainbow is an infrequent phenomenon,…
Revolutionary technology comes around only once in a great while. I’m not sure I would quite classify Microsoft Surface as revolutionary, but at a minimum it’s the biggest leap forward in computer-human interface design in a long time. As I sit here massaging my sore wrist, my mind says that anything that gets us a…
2012 marks my 12th year working for Praxair since graduating from RIT with a degree in IT. I started working on Praxair’s first e-Commerce systems, and then transitioned to help build Praxair’s first intranet on Lotus Domino, and then was part of the team that rolled out Microsoft SharePoint enterprise wide for document management and…
Very nice pics. Looks like you had a good time site seeing.
nice derek! thanks for the Rehoboth pics, My family used to go there when I was a kid.
Real Estate in Lewes and Rehoboth has been ruined by investors who have tried to make a quick buck with encouragement from real estate executives. The market will correct itself in 2007 and 2008 to everyones surprise. Now Realtors have learned a lesson and need to cater to the public who wish to buy and live in homes. These are the folks who will be their customers for long term. Certain markets such as Williamsburg, Virginia will not allow more than 5% of home sales to Investors in prestigious residential developments. Several new gated communities in NC and SC are enforcing that a buyer has to live for 2 years before “flipping” to discourage investors. So lets make the adventure a pleasant experience for the real buyer.”
I have not been to Lewes, DE. I have been offered a job in the area. We live in LA and were hoping for some input about the town. Is it nice just for a visit or could it be a good place to live for a while? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric
Being a “good place to live” has drastically different meanings for different people. I’ve only been a tourist there, myself. The beachfront areas are nice. Cape Henlopen State Park was very nice. There are three huge outlet malls nearby. It has a small, Atlantic coastal town feel to it. If you’re looking for big city nightlife, or hustle and bustle, I would stay away.
